Web architectural updates

Hello,

In recent days, since last I wrote a new article, this website has gone through considerable adjustment. Many changes I made are actually invisible, being matters of importance to the server and other supporting systems. Some changes are visible, but you would have to look closely, such as the way my image addresses have been cleaned up, dropping three superfluous folders from the url, and other adjustments for thumbnail and other adjusted images. Other changes are clearly evident if you've seen the site before.

Comments: Please post, be patient

For anyone who might be wondering, and because I saw a "testing" comment come through, I thought it would be good to note the current state of comments here.

I need to design some systems architecture

Pipes for building

There are a lot of things Drupal is good for beyond public use. I could build a system with which I track things I need to do. I could keep an inventory of books and other things I have. Those aren't systems I want to put up for the public, but they'd be handy to build into a website for my own use. Each of those projects, along with many public functions I'd like to build into this and other sites, requires some sort of plan for how they will be used before I can really get started on building them.

Back from infinite eternity again

Habit: Posting only once every several weeks; starting the new article with some reference to how long it's been since I posted.
Enough of that, really. Yeah, I'd prefer to update daily, or even weekly (weakly? :P) but if I only put up one update a month or something, I guess that's alright with me, as long as I still post sometimes.
