What's to come
How about I try to dedicate myself to writing on a particular schedule? I might learn something. I'm busy. I have two jobs, and this is the first week in over a month I don't work 6 days. Last week my one day off I had two work meetings. Whatever. My last few entries have all been animal spirit related, which is pretty funny since my spirituality doesn't need animals as intermediaries for contact with the very source of all divinity. Still, for mental processing, and exploration of evolutionary religion, this has been quite an adventure.
What's this blog about? Just anything I want to write about? Sometimes. When I started, I thought I'd be finding something worth praising every day or week, and posting about that. I've had hardly a post a month. I may have set my focus too narrow? What are my interests, really?
Cosmology, divinity, philosophy, life, love, beauty, truth, service, music I like (mostly in the genres of rock, jazz, classical, soundtracks, techno, and bluegrass), games (mostly digital), technology, human-supporting environmentalism, sex, space, animals, plants, insects, food, magic, entertainment, revelation, and the sixth epoch of mankind (the current one).
A short list, off the top of my head, which I will likely expand upon later. Maybe I'll turn each of those into a tag to be used on posts. The particulars of web tech, particularly for this site and others I've built, is also of interest, though I got somewhat burned out on it several months ago, hence why this site hasn't changed hardly at all.
I still want to write more. I want to adjust this site's setup to make it easier to post what I'm interested in here, instead of posting everything to facebook (but it's so easy! and it's already all set up!). Here I have total control. That appeals to me, and not just the control-freak part of my nature. Also the creative-artistic side of my nature. With total control comes the power to do pretty much anything I could want to do here. With that power comes the responsibility to actually take charge of my site, do what I intend with it, and create something people will actually want to see.
Perhaps I'll create a second site I can use for when I feel like just posting things I don't want anyone to look at. I haven't posting this site to facebook in months, because I don't expect hardly any of my friends to be interested in the recent entries. They're mostly for my own expressive enjoyment. Of course, if I'm taking that route, I could go much further out there than I already have.
