From North-East Oklahoma, on to Chicago, I didn't follow the exact old route, but the new interstates which are fairly close. Most of the rest stops had route 66 memorials.
This song mentions part of the path of route 66; mostly the parts I wasn't on. But it also demonstrates why I need to read lyrics to songs... I thought it was "the heart of rock and roll is the beat," yeah.
